Seilo Ristimäki is one of the leading Finnish advertising photographers. He has run his own studio for more than 15 years. In 2006 he was awarded QFAP -title, Qualified Finnish Advertising Photographer. He has acted as a member of the board of Finnish Advertising Photographers for several years. During summer 2009 Seilo was invited to be the first Finnish member in Epson Digigrapher Society.

Seilo is a frequent lecturer at events arranged by partners like Adobe, Apple, Canon, Epson, Hahnemühle and Hasselblad. He has consulted many major companies in digital workflow, e g Marimekko and A-lehdet publishing house. Since 2007 he has cooperated with AGI seminars, too.

During recent years Seilo has attended numerous international seminars in order to learn latest techniques. Just to mention a few: PEI Live Dallas 2004 with Martin Evening, Jeff Stewe, Bruce Faser, Greg Gorman as lecturers, Photoshopworld Las Vegas 2005 with Dan Marguelis, and Katrin Eisman as teachers, Photoshopworld Boston 2007 with Thomas Knoll and father of Lightroom, Mark Hamburg lecturing and Photoshopworld Las Vegas 2008 with e g Fay Sirkis, Julianne Kost and John Paul Caponigro on the stage with latest news.
